Free Dome

free dome album cover

By the time I decided to create the album Free Dome, I had been performing spoken word for about six years, and some of the poems felt stuck in my head. I thought if I could get them out as a recording, then I would have space to create new work, hence the title “Free Dome” (the dome, being the mind). I travelled to South Africa soonafter I launched the album, remixed some of the songs and did a live recording of the poem “a dollar?” When I returned to Canada, I remastered the album with the new material and released a new album called Free Dome: South Africa.
